Searching for the Missed Mystery of Life: The Flower of Consciousness is a symbolic watercolour that explores the unfolding relationship between human existence, conscience, nature, and the cosmos.

Created in 2018 using professional archival-quality watercolour on archival paper, the composition transforms the human figure into a radiant flower-like structure. Each petal contains a translucent human form connected through luminous roots and branching networks that converge toward a spiral centre. Rather than depicting separate individuals, the composition suggests that every human life originates from and ultimately returns to a shared field of consciousness.

On the right side of the painting, a winged human figure gently approaches the central form. Within the artist’s symbolic language, this being represents conscience and the metaphorical presence of an angel (Fereshta). Inspired by Islamic symbolic tradition, it is not intended as a literal religious image but as an embodiment of moral awareness and inner guidance. Its quiet gesture toward the flower signifies the continuous dialogue between ethical consciousness and human existence.

The surrounding stars, roots, flowing organic structures, and luminous spaces dissolve the boundaries between body and universe. Throughout the composition, botanical growth, nervous systems, celestial space, and spiritual awareness become different expressions of the same living reality.

Rather than offering a fixed narrative, the painting invites viewers to contemplate consciousness as a living ecosystem where humanity, morality, and the cosmos continuously nourish one another.

Artist’s Statement

Throughout this series I have been searching for the hidden structures that connect human beings with nature and the universe.

In this painting I imagine consciousness as a flower. Just as a flower unfolds petal by petal, I believe human awareness also develops gradually through relationships, memory, experience, morality, and spiritual growth.

The flower is not a botanical object alone. It represents a collective field where many individual lives remain connected through invisible roots. Each human figure becomes both an individual existence and a living cell within a larger universal organism.

The winged figure represents one of the recurring symbols in my work. Inspired by the symbolic idea of the angel in Islamic culture, it embodies conscience, ethical awareness, and the invisible moral presence accompanying every human life. It reminds us that the evolution of consciousness is inseparable from moral responsibility.

For me, the mystery of life lies not in isolated existence but in the invisible networks connecting human beings, nature, conscience, and the cosmos.
