Artist’s Note:
This painting reflects my continuing interest in the invisible layers of human existence.
The dark figure at the centre is not intended to represent darkness or negativity. Instead, it suggests those parts of ourselves that remain hidden while gradually taking shape through our experiences, relationships, and connection with the natural world.
Throughout this series I have used roots, branches, botanical forms, and human silhouettes as recurring symbols of growth and transformation. I see these forms not as separate subjects but as different expressions of the same living process.
By working on a small scale with delicate layers of acrylic, I wanted to create an intimate visual experience where viewers are encouraged to slow down and observe the quiet movements of life that often remain unnoticed.
