Artist’s Statement:
My work often begins with a simple question: Where does consciousness come from?
In this painting I imagine awakening not as an external event but as an internal process. The radiant mind at the centre symbolises a consciousness that grows gradually through experience, ethical awareness, memory, and our relationship with the living world.
The winged figures are among the recurring symbols in my visual language. They represent conscience and the metaphorical presence of angels. Inspired by Islamic symbolic thought, they are not intended as religious illustrations but as reminders that every human being carries an invisible moral companion.
The seed-like forms, roots, and botanical structures express another belief that has remained central throughout my practice: human life develops through the same universal processes that shape plants, landscapes, and the cosmos.
For me, art is not an attempt to explain reality but to make visible the invisible relationships that quietly sustain our existence.
